When should I use a reed diffuser? Reed diffusers are perfect for smaller rooms to fill the space with gentle fragrance. They are best for keeping luxury scents in a room on a more consistent basis than scented candles and room sprays.
Do I need to turn the reeds? Make sure you don't turn your reeds too often! Over time, the reeds may become blocked with dust or other particles in the air in your home, but turning your reeds too frequently will shorten the length of time your oil lasts.
We recommend turning your reeds every 4-5 weeks to ensure your diffuser is kept in peak condition whilst maximising the amount of time you get to enjoy your fragrance.
How long will it last? The oils in a reed diffuser will disperse at different rates depending on certain factors influencing the environment they are placed in. Outside temperature, influencing heating & air-conditioning or frequently opened doors or windows in the home will impact how long the oil lasts for. We advise that our 140ml diffusers will last around 6 months, but this may vary depending on the temperature of your home.
Can I replace the oil in my diffuser? At Freckleface, we aim to make products that are natural and as environmentally friendly as possible. This means that we work hard to offer products which can be used more than once. So, when your diffuser is empty, you don't need to buy a new one, simply check out our reed diffuser refills which come with a new set of diffuser reeds.
